Win £10 – If I had £X, I Would Buy…

The Winner Is… Carol!

Check out the new competition for a chance to win £20.

On day 6 of the competition, Carol said she would spend £1,000 on a very worthwhile new business. “I would build kennels & a cattery onto our cottage & start up a business giving temporary foster homes to help out overcrowded animal rescue places.” My sister and I dream of running a similar business, and I used to foster kittens in my own home, so this answer really stood out to me 🙂

Thank you to everyone who entered. There were some really well thought out answers! FBL’s aim is to reach prizes of £5k & £50k so perhaps some of the dreams entered will one day be realised!

Entrants were asked, what they would do if they had:
08/03/17 – £1 million
07/03/17 – £1,000 to Start a Business
06/03/17 – 10% pay rise
05/03/17 – NO Money & it was a Loved One’s Birthday
04/03/17 – £5,000
03/03/17 – 99p
02/03/17 – £100

Each day I will be asking you what you would buy if you had X number of pounds.

Life-changing Money CompetitionFor a chance to win £10, comment your answer below or via Twitter or Facebook – please like/follow us while you’re there 🙂

Our favourite answer will be the lucky winner of £10 cash!

The competition started on 2nd March. A new amount will show at 11am each day for 7 days. Comment every day for the best chance of winning!

The winner will be announced on 9th March. They will notified via email or social media reply.

After I have bought myself a mobility scooter as well as some other mobility aids, and had a wonderful holiday as I haven’t been on holiday in 15 years I would buy myself and both of my daughters a house each as well as help bankroll each of us independently set up our own businesses. Boring and sensible I know but I just want my girls to be set up for life and watch them enjoy and thrive from what would’ve been their inheritance.

If i had £1 million i would probably pass out!!! No seriously i would build a new home and make sure it was adapted to fit all my disabled son’s needs. I would also fly him out to Barcelona to meet his hero Messi ? I would also give some money to Alder Hey Kidney Fund for all the fantastic work that they do.

Make sure my 3 older sons had good homes to live in & help to set up the animal rescue centre one wants to build with his partner then get one purpose built for myself & my youngest (who is autistic) including soft play & light rooms, lots of secure storage for everything we need to keep away from him, employ a full time assistant both to help him & to provide a companion closer to his own age for him – oh yes, & get a Star Trek style transporter to avoid the stress he feels travelling between places.… Read more »

If i had £1,000 to start a buisness i would run an open house where parent’s and carer’s of adults and children with complex and additional needs could go for advice and support or just a cuppa and a chat, and to meet up with other people in the same situation. There is nowhere in my local area and with all the cuts i doubt there will be anytime soon.
